I got the iron invite to .Same model £99.99 in argos so really pleased to get it ,my iron is on its last leg. hope it arrives soon as I always have a big pile of ironing to get through.

Looks a great offer but surely something like this would only be sent out to selected few people? There seems to be a lot of people who have had the invites. Having a quick guess but it would seem that about 20-30 members have had invites if we all took up the offer then surely Philips wouldn't be making much on this?
In fact wouldn't Bzz get the money anyway and not Philips?

andrew- compared to how much a large company like phillips would have designated for the marketing of a product, sending out a few irons at cost price probably wont mean much to them. word of mouth is an extremely powerful form of advertisement. they arent trying to make money, its all about advertising and promotion of the brand

i've just joined this trial aswell, i've been after one for ages but they are always too pricey,£20 for a steam gen is fantastic, was a bit worried that they 'd refuse electron but it seemed to go through fine.btw any had a tracking number yet?

Yey,I got the invite today, I was hoping I would be lucky to get this campaign., as my Iron gave up yesterday and I've got loads to get through, and I would have to be buying a new iron tomorrow.Not received a tracking order number yet but it sounds like they are coming through quite quickly. I hope it is not a sign that they will make us pay for all big campaigns in the future.

i think it depends what company we're bzzing about. some are obviously more generous than others. i think the discount everyones getting is pretty great!

My god your getting a £100 steam iron for £20 some people if they are gonna make us pay im sure i and many others reading the response on here wont mind.

id take a guess if they sent you an email asking you to trail 2weeks 5* in disneyworld orlando including tickets,flights meals and accom for say £20 quid you would'nt say no.

i think if it was free lots of people wouldn of got the chance this way the people who really wana try it will get the chance and not just people who order for the sake cos its free
