  • I've just signed and paid up £20 to test the iron too. Let's hope it's good or I'll be returning it within 15 working days!

    Happy Ironing to all testing

I personally wouldn't have told DHL chap what he delivering. He might be a lovely chap, but there are some very light fingered people out there and knowing what they are delivering might be just a bit to tempting for them to resist. I only say this because i have had a few incidents where Ive sent things and they were never delivered and once i was meant to receive and it didn't arrive, the contents were quite valuable too. Thankfully it was resolved, but the person delivering didn't come ever again. Just be careful who you tell what to that's all, no offense intended to anyone.;)
valid point but i even if you have`nt been sent a tracking number, you know paynments been taken & you don`t receive the iron then it can still be traced by the sender. anyway the delivery man refused to give it to my dh as he said i had to sign for it.
i worked a night shift last night & my dh was working so my mum was looking after the baby. i got up this afternoon to find that my mum had used the new iron & i had no ironing left! she was really impressed with it but did think it was abit big for putting away anywhere.
    Helen ;)
  • I am so chuffed that I got the invite to the iron aswell. My iron has just about had it now, it's over 16 years old..:j
  • thank you to everyone who posted about this - i logged into my account and the request was there - i would not have known as they don't send me emails to notify of campaigns even though i have ticked the boxes.

My old steam generator just gave up so can't wait to receive this one.
  • Hey great! Only joined as you guys were talking about it. And now only 2 days later I have been offered the iron campaign. Can't wait. Thanks guys !!

Do you not have a family member who you could give the £20 to and let them enter their card details. ( not sure if this will work but worth a try)

hi, i used my mum's card and entered her address under billing.

I normally pay my ironing lady between £15 and £20 a week for ironing that would take me about 4 hours so i reckon this is money well spent for me.
