Thought I would ask all you clever people for advice once again. Recently moved and the conservatory roof is a mass of lichen patches. It is a lean to 25ft x 9ft. Any ideas? is there a company that cleans roofs? or does anyone know of a product we could use?

Depends on where you live. In Worcester there is a local firm that clean conservatory roofs - I had mine done the other week for £35 - try yell.com or yellow pages for roof cleaners, or maybe call a few local window cleaners - if they don't do it, they may be able to suggest someone who can.
The guy who did mine used a hose with a stiff rubber broom attached to scrub all the horrible green stuff off.0 -

The best thing I found for cleaning my (polycarbonate) roof was Jeyes fluid.Stompa0 -
Thank you for the advice all. It is polycarbonate. It isn't green moss it's the yellow hard lichen that seems to be on our roof. We have a field at the back so it's quite open. Conservatory we are told is about ten years old.0
