Autobytel are showing new Ford Ka's at £4788

http://www.autobytel.co.uk/NewCars/NewCarDetails.aspx?car=35162&Make=FORD&Model=KA

Seems a very good deal if there's no catch and that's the sort of car you're looking for.

Ford still make the Ka? Its been around for over 10 years ... isn't a new one due or have Ford forgotten about it with the success of the Focus and the Mondeos.

A new one is due but since they can still sell the old ones presumably there's no rush to bring it out.

The new one is due out later this year, it is based on the chasis used by the Fiat 500. Over the next few months expect to see a number of good deals on the out going Ka & Fiesta

The new Ka and 500 were developed together and share a platform, they are both being built in the same factory in Poland I believe.

The 500 chassis is excellent - it drives well. If that is anythign to go by, the new Ka will be a good car to drive.

& if the 'insideer knoledge' is to be beleived, Fiat recouped their ENTIRE pre-production development costs, by selling Ford the rights to use 300 as the Ka next generation!

& as mentioned, Fiesta deals will be strong - the new model is to be a 'world' car, much like Mondeo, originally was.

    Looks good, too!

I like the Ford Ka. The balance of good ride and handling is right. Only negative is the gruff old engine.
