Ladies & gents,

Basically I have had xbmc running like a dream on my old laptop. This is now past it's best so I have bought a new one.

All of my files are kept on an external hdd f:

basically the path was laptop\f\downloads

I have called my new laptop laptop2 and typed in the path laptop2\f\downloads

When I do this I keep getting asked for my lock preferences.

Any ideas? They will have to be in laymans terms I'm afraid as I'm not the best.

    Have you right clicked the folder on laptop2 to enable the folder to be shared?

    In my computer on the laptop? If so it is the laptop that is called laptop2. I have enabled the f drive to be shared
