Why arnt my items showing in ebay search?

I listed 3 CD's earlier this evening, but I cant find them when I search. They are in myebay but dont show when I search for them.
How long do items normally take to show up after listing?

The titles are;
Brandy - Brandy CD Album 1994 - Great used condition
Norah Jones - Come Away With Me Album
10 Things I Hate About You Soundtrack OST CD 1999

My ebay name is the-rainbow-butterfly, they should have 6days 20hours ish left, can anyone else see them? :o

  • It all depends on your wording in your listing as some get flagged and go past ebay numptys first
i.e. I list star wars and action force if i put blaster it lists almost straight away but if i put rifle or pistol even though it's in the toys catagory it still gets flagged and takes around 12 hours before it shows
  • I havnt put any interesting words in there at all that I know of.. Is there anything wrong with the below? xx

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Great used original CD. This was purchased in about 2000 just after the film came out.
It has some great tracks, in particular those by Letters to Cleo and Jessica Riddle.

The CD has very very minor wear that does not affect playback in anyway. The case has a couple of minor scuffs as you would expect being stored on my CD rack for quite a number of years.

I am having a big clearout, please check my other listings.

It can take a few hours before they get listed.

If you click 'view sellers other items' on a page of one of your listed items, are they there?

0 items found is what it says against your profile

Thats ok, if they're not in the search they won't be listed there.

Give it a few hours and they'll show.
  • Ok thanks guys, I shall check for them in the morning.

It does seem very strange that it takes a few hours to show though, what happens if you only put it on a 1day listing? Do you only get like 17 hours exposure? lol. xx

Your items show now, however as your feedback is a bit low you may not appear very high in the views if people search.

However your listings will be pulled quite quickly as you have several policy breaches and it is probably best to sort them out before you get reported as policy breaches combined with your feedback will mean an end to any visibility on your auctions.

Firstly your statement that 'personal cheque is preferred' will get your auctions puilled..you are no longer allowed to say you prefer any payment method (apart from paypal) you can still offer it and show it as a payment option you can accept, but that's it. Read the seller community boards to see how many auctions get pulled every day for having that statement in them.

The biggie though and the thing that will get you pulled and placed on warning is the link that pulls up an email box. You cannot do that and I would suggest removing that immediately.

Also, take out the silly statement baout not being responsible for lost items, what with that and the cheque preferred it makes you look very scammy when you read that in conjunction with your negative.

Just being picky here , your recorded charge is only 25p more than your standard charge, you do realise that the actual cost you will be charged at the PO is 72P don't you so you'll be out of pocket if someone chooses that option?
