Why aren't refferal links deleted more quickly?

I am aware that this post will be moved, but I do feel upset by this, and it was posted on the freebie site, so other regular posters will be aware of what I'm saying.
I reported a certain Perfume thread at 1.30pm today, it is now 9pm and the thread is still going! 2 pages long now, and regulars have signed up to it!

Why did this thread not get deleted long before now?
Where are the Mods for this board?

In the past I have had to report spam threads 3 or 4 times over a number of days before it is finally removed by abuse... this is not the norm luckily... :beer:

As for the mods (board guides I presume you mean?) they are volunteers and there only appears to be one active one on this board (unless someone can enlighten me to the contrary?!). If you mean members of the MSE abuse team I suspect they don't work overnight/weekends...

I thought there was a seperate group of people (Abuse)who can delete these type of posts. The other threads the OP made were deleted quickly, why not this one?
MCR, this was reported at 1pm today, not in the middle of the night!
I would not ever fault the BG's, Saintscouple has done sterling work over recent weeks to merge duplicated threads.
In fact I posted a thread thanking Saintscouple for her hard work!
