Gas & Electric price cappingq
Hi. My dual fuel costs are with British Gas and are capped until March 2009 (I capped them in March 2006) Should I now cancel that contract as there are no penalty charges and enter into a new fixed price contract as per moneysaving advice that energy costs are going to rise up to 60% in the near future?

If anyone has the answer to that question, do they also know who is going to win the 2:30 at Epsom?
Seriously there are two completely unknown factors - how much will they go up and on what date!
The premium you will pay over the next 8 months will be high and could well be more than your potential savings from April 2009 onwards.
Several people have written on here about a similar dilemma.0
