I think sainsbury's are doing lip gloss sets for £1. This may be good if you do the hamper.

Sainsburys Xmas gifts are currently one third off.

Our local beauty salon does reasonably priced manicures (£8), nail airbrushing (£5), facial + manicure/pedicure packages (£15). My 11 year old daughter got a £15 voucher for her birthday and was thrilled to bits. It might be worth checking out your local salon to see if they do something similar.

There seems loads of girlie things in the shops its stuff for lads that age and above that i find a problem

Have to agree with you - I haven't a clue what to get my 3 nephews (17,16 & 14!!!) either!

Thanks for all the advice everyone - will have a good look round for stuff to put in a 'sleepover' hamper/basket. Lip gloss for £1 sounds a good place to start!!

Some dvds - any tv series she likes or a triple boxset of her favourite films.
    Nice to save.

Well, have actually got pressie today:D

Went to Bhs (20% off everything today & tomorrow) and got some nice shortie PJs, nail varnishes, foot pampering type stuff and got some lip glosses/body glitter from Boots (3 gifts for price of 2 - so got this as the 'free' gift!) Got a nice basket from Wilkinson - all I've got to do now is put it all together!!

Thanks to everyone for all the advice!! Mission accomplished!!

    Now.....about those teenage lads.........
