Getting a new BT line

Hey,
My family attempted to get a new BT line installed as we signed up to Sky's TV,BB and Phone pacakge. After phoning BT many times and recieving their hold music we were put through to many operators and we asked why and they sent us to a different deparment but we hung up after waiting ages. Once we did get through to the right deparment they said our order was on the system but none of their engineers came out to fit it. Has anyone else had this problem and if you did what did you do after?

From what you've said about signing up to Sky's package, you do realise that BT's policy for new lines means you must use their line rental for a minimum of 12 months (or pay a cancellation charge?)0

The OP may just be going for the Sky calls package and not moving (sensibly) to their line rental. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

Hi there,
I needed a new Bt line in the house I'm moving into. I recently phoned Sky to order Sky tv, Sky bb and Sky talk.
The person from Sky told me they would send me a form to fill in and they would pay a full subsidy of the £125 cost of getting a new Bt line installed.
Did you do the same process as me and still have trouble with Bt???0
