Yes you do. Also just about every cash machine also comes with english instructions so just the same as at home0

Yes you will and if you are stocking up at one of the larger supermarkets you will also need to show your passport if paying by card.0

Some retailers in Spain do not use the chip & pin system - just a signature and (usually) some ID is required in these cases.
Photocard driving licences are acceptable as ID for card transactions if you don't fancy carrying your passport (officially everyone in Spain is required to carry a passport or national ID card, although I don't usually bother).Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
