DIGITAL RADIO - which batteries?

we had an alba dab radio bought as an xmas gift which we use via the pwer supply but we want to take it camping with us - the batt compartment says R14s but the supermarket doesn't seem to carry these - they do AAA thru to D & a 9V - does anyone know which batteries I should be buying

rechargables may be a better option? NimH ones work fine in my digital camera, unlike the duracells that didnt even manage 20 shots!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
