Hi all,
Well happy just got 5 nights from the 11th August for 4 people including a ferry to normandy for £599.
Going with http://www.thomsonalfresco.co.uk/ strangely the deal wasn't on the website but when i called they offered 4 sites that are drivable from calais for under £600
Am staying at cote de nacre, anyone else been? been told its quite lively
Cheers

Yep, went last year.
It's a perfect base for doing the Normandy Landing sites.
There are loads of interesting things to see/places to go around about, and although the campsite lacks character, it has a good pool/bar area.0 -
 Stayed here 2 years ago in a static and the site is basically a british site in france, Boddingtons beer, bingo etc. nice pool though. we wouldn't go again, a nicer site is La Bien Assise, just a short drive from Calais and lovely beaches within easy reach including De Panne in Belgium which is excellent.Panda on My Shoulder
If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it :rotfl:0 -
Its handy for the ferry, but we found the pitches very close together and absolutely hoards of British kids running around. The shower blocks were clean and efficient, but overall the site is nowhere near as nice as our favourite site la Grand Metaire in Carnac. There are lots of nice little towns and villages nearby though and its probably great for a short stay. Pretty good value if it includes ferry to/from Caan.0
