At first we decided to wait and see but then we 'argue' because he thinks its a boy but I can only visualise interacting with a girl... Plus planning would be easier if it were a girl
Is it wrong to be half hoping for a girl- mostly 'cos there's so many pretty things for them:rotfl:
11.5 days until 12 week scan, not that I'm counting...:o
I sort of wanted a boy but only because we have plenty of girls already and we are getting to hormone stage with Jas and Amber which is a bit horrific. But I was just as delighted when it came down to it and we knew it was a girl. I think you soon come around to the idea what ever it turns out to be. Are you planning on finding out?:A

I'm here. Your mum and nan will be looking down and smiling at you right now, don't worry.
The would never tell me what I was happening for the first three pregnancies and as girls tended to run in the family I assumed/hoped I was having a girl the first time. Especially as ex-OH wanted to call the baby Hamish if it was a boy! So I just nodded and agreed all the way along, but then nearly died when I promptly gave birth to a boy.
The first thing I said was 'I am NOT calling him Hamish!'. He was so chuffed he would have agreed to anything! There were an awful lot of Scotts and Kylies around at that time. LOL - I called him Gavin!
And I had no idea what to do with a boy! And the clothes are still boring for boys!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

morning all.
Sorry it's a poignant day toto, but I don't think your mum and nan would mind at all, they will be just proud of you and everything that you're doing.
Sister and niece are here, we've just taken Charlie to the park and they went on the little train and had a play on the swings

Its not just the clothes that are boring -all the nursery stuff is dull as and in a lot of cases in quite dark/flat colours
Mum's after a grandaughter so I'll probably end up having a boy to keep up my track record as a disappointment!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Morning all, Toto, you have nothing to feel guilty about, and buying some flowers for the house is a lovely thing to do. And you Mum and NAn would totally understand. My nieces are called Grace and Lily, I love old fashioned names. Lucifa, hope things are going well with the pregnancy.
Have a great day BB, Hope the weather is good for you. Its a bit grey up here.
And morning Maz, yes your DD is a very girly girl. She is sooooo pretty. xxxxxxNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:
