Or Charlotte. Or is that a bit churchy?

There was a girl in my middle school called Tammy, she spent her entire school life nicknamed 'Dr White's'

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

  • I read a story on the BBC website today about a little girl in New Zealand who's gone to court to change her name because her name was Talulla does the Hula from Hawaii.
What kind of parents call their children that?

Thanks for the suggestions gang. Eloise is lovely but reminds me of my ex ex who has a sister called eloise... nuf said there :)

Abi/Abby is out because that's what I call Amber when she isn't in trouble. Charlotte again is lovely and there is a Lake Charlotte in Florida, hubby doesn't like it because it would be shortened to charlie and he doesn't want his daughter named after a class A drug

Anyway, yes it's been hot today... and I have a story about how un-MSE my kids are. I have an air conditioning unit in the living room and had it on full blast today because I was melting and swelling!! Elephant legs anyone?

So, the kids came in, cooled down and then decided they were a bit cold so they put the heating on  I had the air con and the bloody heating on all at the same time.

Seriously... what's wrong with these people!

    Thanks hun x

    And regarding names:
I love Genevieve (said the FRENCH way- jeun-ne-vie-eve)
    and Imogen
And strangely, Jennifer-because it means 'white wave' in cornish!

I loved Freya (my DD's name) and still do HOWEVER every chav and their dog has named their daughter Freya it seems now *sigh*

And Lucifer-Grace and Joshua are lovely names but do bear in mind that they are in the top 5, if not no.1 for names right now and so will therefore be one of at least 2 or 3 in their class...
