I love the names Hope and Grace too!

By the way, I had a Great Aunt Maude - the thought of calling a little girl Maude...shudder!!

    Hi Toto:wave:

Congratulations on you forthcoming bundle of joy!

On the subject of names, have you considered turning to fiction for inspiration?

I am currently working my way through (again) a series of novels (historical fiction/family saga type of thing) and off the top of my head some of the names featured are as follows: Annunciata, Heloise, Flaminia, Aglaea, Hippolyta, Africa, Rosamund, Jemima.

Alternatively you could go for Puritan names:Mercy, Charity, Hope, Temperance, Fear (short for Fear-of-the-Lord), Wrastle (short for Wrastle-with-the-devil):D

    Blimey!

One of my friends at school was called Rosalind, always thought that was lovely... she was really pale with dark hair, really suited her.

Rosalind was the name of Agatha Christie's daughter - ooh what about Agatha, Toto?!

ooooooooh, Eloise is excellent - who did the song by that name?

Edit: it was by The Damned - probably not a good reference! Still a nice name though.
