Security for wireless connection

Could someone please point me in the right direction for setting up a password for my wireless connection. i have fully set upthe connection but no where did i see about security so everyone who goes by can use my internet?

It will be in the wireless settings page and all will be explained in the user manual. Without you stating which router not a lot more can be said!

Get a long random key from here. Copy & paste it to a notepad file and paste it in when required.

I also have a Belkin Router. If you give their Helpline a call (Number in instruction book) they are really helpful and will go through it with you step by step. Doesn't cost a fortune to call either! You will need the serial number and the model number which you will find on the back of the router. HTH
