Security for wireless connection

Could someone please point me in the right direction for setting up a password for my wireless connection. i have fully set upthe connection but no where did i see about security so everyone who goes by can use my internet?:confused:

    It will be in the wireless settings page and all will be explained in the user manual. Without you stating which router not a lot more can be said!

    i have found the wieless connection settings and it is asking for a network security key???

    Get a long random key from here. Copy & paste it to a notepad file and paste it in when required.

    I also have a Belkin Router. If you give their Helpline a call (Number in instruction book) they are really helpful and will go through it with you step by step. Doesn't cost a fortune to call either! You will need the serial number and the model number which you will find on the back of the router. HTH
