I have seen and read on several techie sites about this latest virus threat which is supposedly undetectable by most of the available AV products (Norton, AVG, Avast, and so on). Does anyone know if; a) it actually exists, and b) how dangerous it is?

try googling key parts of the message about the trojan.
90% of them are chainmail junk.
have you tried the search facility on the AV sites you mentioned?

I believe that one of our Computers has an undetectable Virus since Window Live Messenger appear to be messaging links (to virus-seeded web pages of course) to people in the Messenger contacts book. Not one of 6 different well known products can detect it even in safe mode / from XP booted on a different hard drive.0
