Capped Tariff with E-On

I recently capped my bill with E-On and they have written back to advise that my montly direct debit payment will increase by £17!! Although I know that capping will save in the long run, the huge jump in monthly payments seems a bit harsh!

It seems they have increase your D.D inline with your usage, If you have not paid enough over the last 3 months they will increase your D.D to cover your usage and the debt on the account, after 4 payments give them a ring and they should be able to drop the D.D down a bit as the ammount outstanding will be repaid.

    Hope this helps
