Be aware that if you want to use the full value on one booking it must not be a 'last minute bargain' when you can only reclaim the deposit you pay to the site. I almost got caught out with it but managed to find somewhere else so we could get the full £29 odd off.
Is there a use by date on it?0 -
I have just successfully registered and got the 49 credit, the extra 10 seems to have finished though.0

I have just registered and when I go into My Account it says Member Dollars valid until 13 August 2010 so you must be able to use them within the next year.0

I booked a room the other day, and althought the holiday inn rooms had a double bed and sofa bed, it wouldn't let me put more than 2 people in a room.
I phoned the holiday inn before booking and they confirmed I could add in 2 children. They advised me to put it in the comments box and they would insure the room was made up for 4.
Once booked I got a confirmation for a room for 4
Not sure if it is just the holiday inn that won't add in more than 2.
Only because kids eat and stay free?

When you search for a hotel, it should show the normal prices in GBP. Your member dollars won't be taken off until check out, when dollars will be converted into pounds and taken off your bill (ie around £25).
You have to book before 31 December 2008 when you sign up, but can stay anytime. Some MoneySavers have reported their account says their 'membership dollars' are valid until 2010. We are currently confirming this with the press office, but customer services says the £25 will definitely expire in December. In the meantime, you might want to book before December, as that's what it says in the terms and conditions.0 -
