First thing would be to run windows update which will return your screen resolution to a normal size amongst other updates

Windows update should also sort out the sound card drivers. It sounds almost like you have a boot sector virus. Before you get all attached to your new PC try a full low level format, this will rewrite the whole drive over with new data, typically all 1 and then all 0. This will destroy all data on the hard drive and should kill the boot sector virus.

You can download a free low level format utility from here http://hddguru.com/content/en/software/2006.04.13-HDD-Wipe-Tool/

Don't panic, they are not viruses. Just tracking cookies that come along with everyday web surfing.

We need to know the brand and model no. of your machine in order to determine the drivers you will need.

Ok look at me, I have gone to the website and installed the drivers I am feeling very good about that, and I have changed my resolution back to normal. I am now having problems signing in to msn messenger. It says I have no access or no connection?
