Question About Or

  • Hi Annes, It is embarrassing but just tell the truth, be as helpful as you can be. If you spent it on having a good time, holidays, living beyond your means say so. That is the simplest way to deal with it, and they do hear it all the time.

My debts were ine xces sof £120k (plus mortgage) and my interview was 1 hour 40 minutes. It was in depth and I did have to rely on my memory for unexpected questions, and I did have to say that I would need to check up on some figures, but it was OK. Just write yourself some notes to have ready about what you can explain about where the money went.

It will be fine. The ORs are generally very helpful and friendly and aren't out tocatch you out or criticise, just to get at the facts.

    All the best.

I had my OR interview today, I dont own a business, and live with parents, and wondered when he would stop asking questions.

But all was ok in the end, just didnt really want to be there to be honest.

He has asked for further information on a few things, and I could remember when I took out the credit cards, but he seemed happy with most things.

You tend to repeat a lot of the same answers especially when you cant remember exact dates, but I was completely up front and honest.

Dont quite know what happens now, we shall see, will keep you updated.

    Thanks for all your help

Good news Matt. That's well and truly the hard bits out of the way. You will get sent some forms to sign and have witnessed, then they wil assess if you get an IPA then its the IPOQ questionnaire and you're on your way to discharge!
