Seems like a right (_*_) don't know why he would ask that unless you've moved jobs a lot

  • that could be it as i have been in this job for nearly 3 years, but before i have temp around, but it also could be with my tax as i wont be paying tax. i am stressed out cant wait for this to be over.

  • It could well be for tax reasons. If you were working through temp agencies then the tax would have been through them rather than the actual places you worked if you see what I mean. Do you have your old p45's? These would probably have the info you need on them. xx

Its also another tool for him (or her) to establish reasons for BR. Nothing to worry about
  • After your declared bankrupt what type of questions does the OR ask at your interview,I assumed it was just a brief explanation of how you got into debt and not a in depth probe as to how you spent every penny?

IM worried now as I was completley stupid in my spending and would curl up and die if I had to recount my failings on money management and what I spent it on.

Im depressed enough without having to account for every flippant purchase and bad financial doings.

    Hi,

I got asked the same sort of thing by my OR. His main concern seemed to be to establish that I hadn't taken any credit out while I was unemployed. Once he knew that I hadn't he didn't mention it again.

Good luck with it all, don't worry too much. I was scared to death, but it all worked out in the end.

My OR interview was pretty in depth, it seems that majority of people on here had a fairly painless experience, and yours probably will be. I might just have had one that got out of bed the wrong day, he did ask me a lot more than I thought he would, and I got in a muddle. So my advice is, is to be really prepared on where it went. He really has heard it all before. I know its embarrassing, we've all been there, but the more prepared you are with answers, the better. Just be honest. :)

My interview was over 2 hours face to face. I had over 100k worth of debt and there was a lot of stuff I genuinely couldn't remember spending. I used to keep all that information in my mind and I just went blank! Then I remembered some home improvement stuff etc. but I said I'm really sorry but if he really needed to know, he'd have to look through the bank statements. He was just fine with that explanation and I've just been given my IPOQ form which means that have finished investigating and its the first step for discharge!

So... don't worry , just tell the truth if you can't remember but whatever you do, don't just make things up. Good luck!

Sorry to go off topic, but is that correct about the IPOQ meaning they've finished investigating?

I went BR in April, and had IPOQ in mid-june. I just assumed it was because I started work in between BR & OR interview, and they just wanted updated details.

IPOQ can be for either new job/change in circumstances or early discharge.
