My son's PC crashed and i had to reset it from scratch, i had a wireless usb adapter that was working fine before the crash but couldnt find the disc to add it again so went and bought a new adapter today. Have been trying to connect it for last hour and to no avail, it wont connect to the internet (i have run and loaded my sky internet disc also) it says i need WRZ Wireless Zero Configuration and to go to microsoft website and look in microsoft knowledge base for wzc service article 871122 i have had a look on site but cant see what its asking me to find.
Does anyone know what i have to do, in the most simplest of instuctions please :o

as ur on the internet why not get the software for the old working device from the guys who make it website?
The orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.

That's the article it was asking you to have a look at.

Check the website of the old wireless device for drivers and download them, and check the website of the new device for updated drivers that might fix the problem.

The wireless adaptor may use its own program for acessing wireless access points.

Try opening the software for the card on your pc and see if there is anywhere whereby you can enter your wireless settings.

I have had this several times when using seperate wireless cards rather than a built in device
