How do I put photos and music on a CD?

Hi,
I had my hen night last week and would like to send my friends a CD of the photos with some music on it but I don't know how to do it. Do I put the music on first and then the photos? And will the tracks play when the disc is opened on the pc?

Your CD writer's software should give you the option of burning a DATA disc. Then just select the files (music, pics, whatever) you want to put on the CD (using the 'Browse...' button) and when you've loaded up everything press 'Burn' or 'Create CD'.

It's dead simple - honest!

I think I've got Windows Media Player and Power Cinema - would they work?

Have you used "PhotoStory"? http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx
It's sooooo easy to use and gives brilliant results as you can zoom in and out of the photos, add any music you like, the photos fade in and out etc... it gives a really professional result and then you can just save it and burn to disc as normal.

blimey that was fast pinkpig08!:rotfl: it does give fantastic results doesn't it? I use it a lot at school.... we did a lovely one for our year 11 leavers, using pics from when they started to when they left..... soppy music... had them all blubbing (me included!):D
