Getting Uni Timetables

Just wondered if anyone had some advice.
A lot of us on my degree course (going into 2nd year) work alongside the degree in related work (it's a degree with a professional qualification - which we need to continue our work).
Any ideas about how to get them to release next year's timetables to us? They said we can get them end of September when we register - not much help as most of us are back to work in early September.

At my Uni they don't finalise the timetables until the week before uni starts and even then they say they might change in the first few weeks.0

They are finalised next week, a tutor has confirmed that. Times aren't really an issue, just the days would be helpful! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

In most Uni's they have a whole department for just timetabling, as a lot of courses will share modules, and theres gotta be minimal clashes.
So Days may even change right up until week 1, and seomtimes after, if they realize a mistake has been made.
They probably cant release the timetable because its not done yet. By "Finalize" they mean theyve finished, and it has to be OK'd by tutors (some may have issues with times etc).
Im sure your employer would be understanding enough, i mean you'll have the timetable the week before.Credit card: [STRIKE]£2533.30[/STRIKE] £0 as of July '16!Overdraft: [STRIKE]£1700[/STRIKE]£0 as of July '16!Aim:Save for a working trip to New Zealand leaving late 2016/ early 2017!0 -
Hi,
At my university lecture times tend not to change from one year to another unless there is an overhaul of course modules. On Blackboard SRS Web I am able to do a module search and click on the planned time slot for lectures/ seminars for particular modules.
So maybe... try a module search on Blackboard?0 -
Blackboard rocks....I would be very lost without that system.
At my Uni the 2nd and the 3rd years have their time table but not us 1st years.
It would be handy to know, coz then part time work hours can be arranged......come on Uni's SORT IT OUT!!!!0 -
Can also depend on what degree your doing. I've just finished social work, and all our lectures were on a tuesday, wednesday and thursday each year. The times would vary, but not the days!0

It would be good to know, so childcare arrangments and so on can be arranged in my case. I just have to worry about out of school hours, but i know a few people who will have to still arrange childcare for much younger children, i don't envy them at all  .
