I have worked in car rental for the past few years & the only tip I would recommend is to try & book a medium (Focus) sized automatic. Most rental companies don't run too many of these, so you'll find yourself on the receiving end of a nice free upgrade
This is OK assuming you don't mind driving an auto, AND they don't charge extra for automatic cars (some do).
We used to have a punter who sussed this trick & ALWAYS ordered an Astra & usually drove away in a 3.0L Mercedes!!!!!!!!Women priests. Great. Now there's priests of both sexes I don't listen to - Bill Hicks.0 -
