Incapacity Benefit Tribunal

Thanks all of you. Will pass on info to my friend. Part of the problem seems to be that it is difficult to get information but I assume that is to stop appeals. Forums are great for getting help in all sort of areas of life.0

I received a letter stating i had won my appeal as well, 3 weeks later iv'e still not been paid anything. Countless phone calls to try and find why there is a delay in my i.b re-instatement.all they do is ask security questions and say they can only e-mail the appeals section to get them to call back within 3 hours- which of course they never do !!! Has anyone got any suggestions ? I've even faxed the decision letter to the appeals section twice. It gets really frustrating when all you do is speak to a call-centre who are totally incompetent and really dont give a jot !!!!!0

Well, we've only bloody gone and done it.
Letter came today.
OH has WON the tribunal :T :T :T
And it was a written one which goes to show just how strong a case he had and proves what a pair og imbiciles the *Indipendent* GP and DM were.
10 sodding points they gave him ~ the tribunal of common sense have awarded him 16.
To be honest, I dont give one jot about the money but as far as proving that yes, being 34 and needing new hips is a bit of a disability to the monkeys who worked on his claim/case/appeal is like winning the lottery.
I'd even like to stick one in the eye of the CAB who refused to help (and basically told us we didnt have a chance)
But I'm not bitter0 -
