Loft Advice!!

I am planning to get my loft 24 ft X 12 ft boarded with 18 mm chipboard, a light and a folding loft ladder.

Can anyone let me know what will be the cost if give to an external source ?? Depending on the cost, if it is on the higher side I might do it on my own!!

Thanks in advance..

it depends on so many things, eg: Are you supplying the materials, is there parking outside, if not how far has everything got to be carried. How many storeys has your house at present, how big is the loft hatch etc etc.

Make sure you lay insulation first (under the boards).
