Any particular area of Cornwall?
We use cottages rather than hotels and I tend to avoid the national agencies and use either local ones or, if possible, book direct with the owners.
A couple to start with are:
CORNWALL ONLINE
and
CHYCOR
There are loads of local agents like corncotts, helpful holidays, cornish traditional, valley villas but they tend to specialise or be stronger in some areas than others.

Edited to add: The only Dog Friendly site I'm aware of is THIS - but as you have to pay £6 to join I haven't! Most agency sites have a "pets allowed" search filter and though the 2 sites I posted don't most private ads mention allowed or not in the text.0 -
Well you may be glad to know that a lot more hotels are dog friendly than people realise.
I've just got back from a work related event where I was discussing this with the sales manager of a 4* country hotel who hosts guide dog puppy training events at their hotel. I even worked on night reception at a dog friendly hotel which is fully booked with dog owners and their dogs, on the same weekend as Glastonbury, for a national dog show held locally.
Had to mention that it's Glastonbury weekend after witnessing a chorus of dogs in the bar howling along to 'Hey Jude' when Paul McCartney was head lining a few years ago.
I would be very tempted to phone a few hotels in the area you want that have their own grounds and ask them.
As an example, I have booked this hotel in the past (about 2years ago) for people with dogs, but their policy may have changed.

I usually book with www.cottages4you.co.uk they cover all the major ones (e.g. Welcome Cottages). When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0
