Problems changing Display Resolution

Hi
I purchased a Nvidia Optimised from Novatech today and the display resolution is stuck on 800 x 600 with 4 bit colour. When i try to change it, it displays "The display control panel is unable to change the display setting, you may not have appropiate administative rights to change these settings".
I contacted Novatech and they advised me to reinstall the driver but when i did this, it told me i was installing a older version so i aborted.
Can i have some advise please?

Go to NVidias website and download the latest drivers from there.0

Or head over to novatech's forum and post some help, there will be plenty of advice that'll come almost straight away

I would be making sure you have adminstrator rights on the PC - Is your user account part of the administrators group?
As mentioned, I would download the latest driver from Nvidia's website.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0
