This website has a few things advertised at £0.00.
I placed an order for2 dvd changers, 2 headrest monitors and a reversing camera. It won't let you check out with the basket at £0.00 so you have to add something else in. I Just added the cheapest thing I could find.

I can't see anything in their terms and conditions to cover them.

Just had a brief look at the site. Whilst nothing appears obvious, a precedent was set a long time ago on this sort of thing.
It's just like the Argos/Homebase TV thing a short time ago.
Whilst Argos and Homebase had covered their backs anyway, even with this one, the law will be on the side of the company as you know it's a mistake.
If you get them then well done but I'd put money on it you won't.0 -
Intersting idea, but I could not find anything cheaper than £199. I don';t want to get stung with that just for trying to see if this works. ??NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

Best of luck, all I can find are P.O.A.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

There are some products on there that are priced at £14.95 (remote controls etc.). Ive done the order but dont hold out much hope of receiving the gear. Just had an e-mail saying that my order has been deferred.0 -
The site does say POA, which means price on asking, which means they could bill the actual amount to your credit card.peter_the_piper wrote:Best of luck, all I can find are P.O.A.“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Chemist-4-u. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

It only says POA on a few of the items though, I presume it can only bill your card on those said items. If you look at the window on the left of the screen with the new stuff in, most of those are priced as £0.00.0 -
They can only charge your credit/debit card with a price that they have advised and you have agreed to. So if it says POA, they can only charge an amount after they tell you what it is and you subsequently agree.
As previously mentioned, if the price displayed is £0.00 they can only lawfully either supply at the advertised price or cancel the order due to it being a misprice. As a customer service, they may contact you to advise the correct price and gain your authorisation to proceed at the correct price, but they cannot charge your card until they have gained that authorisation.
....unless they are called daxon.co.uk

because the price is zero, no consideration has passed from you to them and therefore the contract is unenforceable.0 -
