Just got back from hols and read this with alarm..............no smoke without fire though is there?

Has anyone forwarded the original link to tesco to see what sort of comment they would like to make? I think they realise how important this site and others like this are to their business so I am sure they would respond.

They didn't say small profits, they said slowly decreasing - which isn't actually true anyway.

Tesco only made 5.4% NP margin last year so 2.8bn isn't that much (compared to other companies, mine is around 40% NP margin), despite the fact people think Tesco mug people and are raking it in!

Lol, I was thinking something similar. There are lots of rumors and hoaxes that are totally unfounded.

having said that tesco would deny it! They'd hardly be likely to say "Oh yes it is very true!!

BUT how on earth would a top secret hush hush meeting be leaked, not to The Sun or The Mirror, but to a little internet forum?? I mean perleeease!!!

And as welshy and others said, tesco use the clubcard to sway people to shop at tesco. I for one often buy things just because I have a points coupon for it, as I collect therm and use them for deals.

I must admit I was worried when i saw the title! I have about £200 worth of vouchers here and another 800 pts on this months clubcard statement.

asked in store yesterday if they were doing away with deals and the woman looked at me as if I was mad!(Well, I am, but that's another story )

The people allegedly at this meeting also probably discussed the meaning of life, can we as an off shoot of the Royal family still keep pretending to be humans when indeed we are 6ft lizards from the 5th dimension (this bit I believe) and the significance of the ex-astronaut Edgar Mitchell saying that aliens are have indeed visited the Earth to shop at Tesco!!:D

It's a hoax...let's be honest that sort of info if true would generate a nice pay packet via more public methods.....then again there are libel laws in this country..its not worth thinking about.
