E-On Tariff

Hi!
I was just wondering if I should change my tariff with E-On? I'm currently on Energy Online Extra Saver 5 and am getting a bit confused by all of the price rises! My latest bill for this quarter (the first since I switched from British Gas) is £106.07, for both gas an electricity. Would there be any advantage for me to swap to one of the other tariffs?

Same position, I wasn't sure but have moved only the Energy Saver capped deal as its a bit more expensive now but protects against price rises til Oct 09. I had the same tariff as you which I switched to last October, did a comparison and it seemed that staying with E.ON and moving to this plan would save me around £160 / year potentially more depending on the magnitude of any rises. Depends on your usage etc.. but I thought it was better for me.. confused though so not 100% it was right!

Sorry.. made an error above - it'll cost me £160 more a year if prices don't rise (I thought the comparison took rises into account) but as with everything it seems be on the up certainly from what ML is saying and what is in the media.

Thank you very much for your advice, I'm going to take a look at the tariffs I'm being offered and see whether I can move to one that's capped!
