Hi DebS
Remember that old saying....`he who has not made a mistake has not made anything`.
Your FM will learn from their mistake & its `their mistake` not yours.
As parents we naturally beat ourselves up for things our kids do....the hardest thing is to tell ourselves that it is ` their lives` & they WILL make mistakes!!
Take care Honey & hope you did`nt break the chair!!

only just read this one....i'd say that you've been a great parent - kids do go through bad phases and it sounds like you dealt with it well. I'm glad that the actual process of going BR wasn't too bad for you - you've clearly been through enough. As for falling of your chair - comic genius:D0

All the very best Debs and thanks for posting, would echo everything that has been said. Your fm was just led astray, easily done at that age,if she isn't beating herself up now about it, she may well do in the future, but you have coped brilliantly with it all. You don't come across as anything but a caring, loving person and parent and I never even thought from your wonderful sense of humour that you were anything other than very serious about solving debts and personal problems.
