Holiday Credit Card Purchases

Hi All,

We are going to America in a few weeks and i'm looking to treat myself and my girlfrind to some nice presents!

I would like the guranatee that section 75 brings on credit card purchases, however, I don't want to go to the hastle of a special overseas card (we have a nationwide account) and I don't want to get stung on the interest.

Now I know you used to be able to split the transaction (pay two ways) and still be covered) for example, if you paid £100 on the credit card then £900 in cash you would still be covered for the whole purchase under section 75. Does this still apply and what are the values?

Thanks in advance.
