How can I get a good capped rate?
Options
I have been with N Power for a couple of years and decided to switch a couple of months ago to Scottish Power. However as I had some arrears N Power would not let me transfer. So I called them, arranged to pay the arrears with my monthly DD and arranged a capped rate. Unfortunatly as finances are tight my bank cancelled the DD and now N Power are chasing me for the money. However I received a call from Scottish Power yesterday asking me for my readings as they are taking the account now, I asked for the rates and they said it would be 14.11p for the first 225 units and then 8.894 for Electric and 3.331 for first 1143 units and 2.558 for Gas. Is this a good rate or should I try to stay with N Power. I am undergoing a seperation from OH and I am struggling to keep on top of things. However I dont want to choose the wrong supplier and then have massive price rises. Any advice anyone?
