Norton Antivirus-Aware Threat found

I have done this before but cant remember how to get rid of an adware threat found whilst doing a Full anti virus scan.(C:\WINDOWS\system32\navshext1.dll) The only option available on Norton is to exclude the item but obviously I want to get rid of it! I have searched the local files & folders & found 1 application extension (navshext1.dll)which I have tried to delete but it says 'cannot delete...Access is denied'..'make sure the disk is not full or write protected & that the file is not currently in use'..........anyone help me please????

Try pressing ctrl alt del and see if its running in processes and end it then try deleting it

Also, try booting up in safe mode and delete.
