Adding Abbey Credit Card to Egg Money Manager

Can't get it working.. I double checked I was entering the correct details when adding a new organisation there.

"Getting your accounts" page starts connecting but nothing happens then .. tried with no success several times on different dates; direct Abbey access works fine ..

Is it a known issue, or maybe because they've changed their system some time ago ?

Just a thought, what browser are you using? I think (bad memory) egg money manager may not work fully with other than IE6.

Couldn't get Abbey or Birmingham Midshires to work on EMM all others work fine and can bring up Abbey/BM to register but 'waiting' screen doesn't go. Using IE tab in Firefox.

Exactly the same, but I'm using the latest IE .. time to blame Abbey's IT

I was using Egg Money Manager to check Abbey Credit Card for last 6 months. It was working well upto last month. From this month, Abbey credit card is not working. So, i deleted Abbey Credit card from Egg Money Manager.

I've recently been given an Abbey credit card which was working in EMM. It's stopped working the last couple of weeks or so though. I don't think it's the change of system as surely then it wouldn't have worked with me in the first place? (It's so new I've only just made my first payment on it a week or so ago)

The way that Egg Money Manager works is by opening a pop-up window using the log-in details, it then it 'scrapes' the balance and shows it on the Egg site... you'll see what I mean if your computer/internet ever decides to go really slow.

Anyway... maybe Abbey have slightly changed something about where or how the balance is shown on their site? Even the slightest change can upset Egg Money Manager.

It may be something they're aware of, so worth sending Egg a secure message and making sure you pick the 'Egg Money Manager' option. I wouldn't bother phoning them, unless things have changed then not many of those who work on the phones have had all the training on Money Manager so they wouldn't know where to look to check on the current known issues.
