I am moving into a new house in 2 weeks time and need to find the best gas and electricty supplier. I think I want to arrange a capped dual bill.
Ive only ever had a pre pay electricity meter and have never had gas.
Each site I go to prompts me to enter my current details and compare deals.
I dont have anything to enter so cannot get any info on the cheapest.
Any ideas how I can sort this out?
When do I strat it from, is it after I ve taken the readings from the meters when i move in?

Try firstly entering the UK average of 3,300kWh for electricity and 20,500kWh for gas and you will get the best tariff for your area for that consumption.
You can then try variations on this, say 2000/15000kWh and see if a pattern emerges.
Initially you will have to use the gas and electricity supplied to the house.0
