Tiling quote

Just had A quote for my tiling my bathroom floor approx 7 sq metres and bathroom walls approx 10 sq metres. The quote was for just tiling and included the materials needed. It is just normal tiles. The price is £370. This is from my regular tiler and he does do a first class job. Wanting to know if it sounds fair?

Also before he comes in the wall are being skimmed, room is 3m by 3m for £160. Does this seem fair, he has been recommended and I have seen his work.

Im in Sheffield area.

Thanks for help.

Seems a tad on the high side, if the average per sqm is approx £30-£40, that would be £280, and usually tilers include the grouting in thier quotes.

not sure how people are working out prices.but i make total tile area 17 sq/mt so i would have to charge without looking between 550/600 including materials. anything less is very good. and if you are in london maybe a bit more tp cover any parking etc.

I'd agree with you. It is 17sqm's. My husband would be going in at £580 for that.
