DS has left to go to his dad's, lounge is a disaster area but I'm having a wee rest before heading off to my folks for food. Have money and vouchers to spend on ME!!!! Hope everyone is having a nice christmas - I feel I need a snooze already...

Bit of a mixed bag today, had a lovely morning with DS and my family came round then went to folks for meal. My mum went to bed ill so it was a bit flat really, walked home from theirs and passed lots of nice houses full of families which depressed me a bit coming back here alone. Things could be a lot worse so I'm not going to dwell on it but it has made me a bit more determined to knuckle down and lose the debt quicker - not sure how but april/may would be nice...

On the up side it's my second NSD in a row!

Decision made - money from bro is going towards the debt and the vouchers from my folks can wait until I really NEED something new.

Hopefully it'll stay dry today and I can drag DS out for a walk, need to go to the supermarket today/tomorrow though as I only did a meal plan for a week so not that much left in the freezer...

Nice day up here today - really mild so went for walk down beach with DS, unfortunately I also decided to nip to the sales which was a bit mad. Didn't buy anything at the sales though but treated us to a drink and cake for DS.
I have to buy a couple of birthday pressies but might give the shops a miss otherwise...or maybe I could buy them at the supermarket...
Today I've been mainly putting songs on to DS's mp3 player - very dull!

OMG, DS is tidying up thank goodness!

The thing I hate about the holidays is never being quite sure what day it is! but have now worked out it's saturday and I'm back at work on monday...

This weekend's list is still fairly simple as I'm on holiday!

    1. Reclaim lounge
    2. Find remaining jewellery - yes again!
    3. Research cheap meals on OS board as I want to try to cut the shopping budget a little.
    4. Do all the wee fiddly mending (sewing) stuff I've been putting off.

Weighed myself this morning and seem to have put on 2lbs! not sure how as I haven't eaten too badly but I have had a few glasses of vino each day... I have decided that January will be a "dry" month! I am out at Hogmanay so technically I may have one or two after the bells but that's it - won't be going mad anyway as it's a party with lots of kids there so it'll be more game based!
Need to go shopping for a pressie for a teenager...argghhh! and also for one of DS's pals.

Well if you have managed to put 2lbs back on then God help me.................I havent even got any scales to find out:o

Good idea on the Dry January, might have to pinch that idea too:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

It was really disappointing as I've resisted all chocolate etc Lou but I will just have to get rid of it again. I've been out for lots of walks with DS too so probably more active than usual. I will get to target next year though!

Well I have just reserved some weight watchers bathroom scales half price from Argos as they tell you your BMI and fat/water measurements as I dont want to get hung up on the weight thing as I am more concerned with my body shape.

We will see if they are any good though:rolleyes: Might force myself to have a run on the treadmill today.
