very weird, I used to go up there once a month but not been for ages. It was a horrible day for driving yesterday - it rained all the way there and most of the way back.

really tired today and so looking forward to a few days off at christmas. I really need to focus more at work though as I feel I'm running around like mad and achieving nowt - maybe if I cut the chatting a bit that might help? Just working out january's budget and it looks like the pesky barclaycard will be there for another month but sometimes you need clothes...ok maybe not but I feel better for buying them!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Who are you chatting to, and what would you do if you weren't? Is the chatting completly unproductive, or does it just feel it?skint_spice wrote: »Just working out january's budget and it looks like the pesky barclaycard will be there for another month but sometimes you need clothes...ok maybe not but I feel better for buying them!
And sometimes you don't need clothes...it's all swings and roundabouts...

friends at work.:o sometimes it's vaguely work related but tends to start out that way then disintegrate into banter... I am perhaps keeping them upbeat and making them feel better...;)And sometimes you don't need clothes...it's all swings and roundabouts...

I know - I could have survived without buying them but I didn't spend much and got loads of stuff and it didn't make a big dent in the finances. and lots of it was sort of key pieces to pull together stuff I already had, feel good factor should not be completely dismissed though as I feel much more confident and positive for it which is worth lots more than the £100 or so I spent.Got 3 pairs of boots and lots of other stuff for that!:D

So sleepy! I've been to the gym, worked from home this avvie and done the food shop but I'm ready to curl up on the sofa and fall asleep now.
This weekend I will do the wrapping though...
That's it for the list really:
1. Wrap up pressies
2. Catch up with ironing
not aiming for much this weekend really! I may make a plan of action for tarting up the flat though but I'm not starting that until the new year.
It's blowing the beginnings of a gale outside so may need to have a glass of wine later to help me sleep...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well I've done some of the wrapping... will try and do DS's tonight once he's in bed - only problem being the fact that I'll probably fall asleep around then too!
Have to help DS make a chocky bar for his dad tomorrow but I think we have everything in for that so hopefully tomorrow can be a NSD, off to cinema in a bit so today won't be.
as for the flirtin' thing I was going to do this week...did a wee bit with cute bloke but don't seem to be in the same office on the same days much at the mo but strangely enough there seems to be someone else rather interested... nothing is going to happen as he's way too young but it's still quite flattering.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
