no need to apologise, feel free to come on and have a moan here whenever you like, we all get down with it all sometimes.
seems to be acceptable to say you're too skint to do stuff at the mo but doesn't make it any more fun.
confession time - spent some unnecessary money today (footie tickets) but didn't use the entertainment budget at all before this so kind of breaking even I suppose.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

had to buy some cosy winter stuff today - hats and scarves for me and DS, not sure where last years went but it could have been my mania for decluttering... not too bad though all in for tenner.
diet still going well but didn't sleep well so really sleepy today.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

tis a bit! and the forecast is for very cold. Fed up of watching DS playing footie at the weekends and practises and shivering so now will be well covered up.

Hello, getting reaaaallly cold today! I nearly succumbed to the idea of buying a nice bottle of red on the way home but didn't - so proud.
Need to sort out menu plan for next week and get the shopping in but this dieting lark seems to be v expensive. hope it's worth it in the end...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Ohhh Skinty I have just made a lush chicken and mushroom curry with some Mayflower curry power which already has a thickener in it so no faff on.
I have never tried it before but they were on about it on the SW thread the other day and it is only 5syns a serving so is must be low in fattening stuff.
It tastes pretty much exactly like the curry you get from chinese takeaways and cost me about £4 for the 4 of us with the chicken, mushrooms and rice.
I always loose my winter scarves, hats and gloves tooBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Thanks, that sounds like a plan for Saturday night Lou, will give it a go if I can find the sauce. I did make something weird but yummy last night with left over chicken, stirfry and sweet chilli sauce - all bunged in pitta breads, DS loved them. didn't like to confess it was just leftovers cooked in five mins so mummy didn't succumb to a pie at the footie!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I think there are other makes too, they come in either a packet or one of those little tubs. Farmfoods stock it if you have them there.
Well done on resisting the wine by the way:j
Its OH birthday tomorrow and we are going out for an Indian meal (his favourite) I am just going to go for damage limitation both with the calories and the price. :rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Tandoori chicken is apparently quite slimming..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
