Skinty you are almost there now and the first month when you are debt free is really wierd, old habits die hard and it really is difficult to start spending again at first.
The novelty wears off by the second month though:rotfl::rotfl:
We moved straight on to overpaying on the mortgage and still had a little left for savings:cool:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Still haven't done the gold thing, tried a couple of times but no reply. Will try again this weekend if I get a mo, I've talked my friend into car booting this month which is good as I have a lot I'd like shot of!
Lou, I think most of the money will be going towards doing this place up and then moving (and maybe getting a lappy where the "m" works first time), but after that apart from nice hols and savings the majority will be going to the mortgage. :rotfl::rotfl:it's a great relief not having to worry about what to spend your money on... and I don't really envy anyone anything material anymore either. it's all just more stuff! if only I'd come to this conclusion at 25 life could have been so much easier!:o Still it's better than realising a year or two before retirement when deep in debt and still mortgaged to the hilt.
