I find elasticated waisted stuff works well at times:o Plus i am heaving myself back to Slimming world, cheaper than a new wardrobe at the moment...until i become mega slim then will have a re think.

Any of your mates do clothes swap parties? Said in a non pervy, don't take it the wrong way Z..That way you can all get relatively new clothes and swap again later.

I have some lovely clothes preDFWness and would sooooo love to wear them again but to not have a sore back would be totally fab. Getting up and thinking "oo, what shall I wear" is so much better than "what can I squeeze in to...":o it felt kind of strange and bad spending the money but there's no point in working if you can't enjoy some of it...

I don't have much in elasticated waists except sports stuff - not really worky and have way too many clothes to justify buying more. Good luck on the SW.

nah, I have one teeny tiny mate (size 6-8) and the others are a fair bit bigger than me and have been a while so no great sources there. but if I fitted into things then my motivation would wane so it's ok!;)

Work to live, not live to work. The golden rule is "Moderation".

The gym will be good if you get benefit out of it. And that means going frequently...

I think this is something that will take some learning! after spend, spend, spend I went to not spending at all for so long that finding a happy medium is difficult. I'll get there... it may take some time.;)
