just that I need to keep working so I don't go all obsessive about the state of my home, and Peter Powell does nothing for me so I think I'm safe.:D

Peter Powell did nothing for her either.
Though he did give her career a good shafting though...skint_spice wrote: »Everyone at work is obsessed with money at the moment and how much their shopping costs - it's everywhere!
That be inflation. It'll get worse long before it gets better. I'm sure there's plenty of people on here who can regale you with stories from the seventies.

Nope - £16 would still be £8000 so need the extra pound to nudge it down! I seem to have about £50 more than I expected in my current account at the moment which probably means that something hasn't come off when it should have done but if not YIPPEEE!!!
Totally scunnered with being in debt at the moment as there's so much needing done in the flat but trying hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
No weight loss this week but no gain either and feeling a bit fitter too so the gym lark seems to be paying off. Off out with the girls tonight so looking forward to that and hopefully it'll be quite cheap too.
and only 50p to go on the survey site now!Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Thanks Beanielou, it was a great (and very cheap) night, lots of laughs, wine, dancing and general silliness.
