so even though the one account lets you compartmentalise savings, it won't work out the interest reduction the savings have earned you?
    shame if that's the case.

andy boyo, do you do a calc every month to work out your profit?
Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc

    Thanks Neil

Happy with the stoozing calulator, I've used it before. It's just nice to see the interest actually arriving each month which is what I currently have with the savings account but not so easy with the one account.

No Steve - I just use the calculator at Stoozing.com to work it out. and as long as its a positive figure I'm happy enough to be honest.

I've been thinking this one over and looked at another aspect. I have a standard appeal letter that I send off to try and increase an intial low card limit offer. It usually works and I have often doubled my card limit. Part of the evidence that I send is a copy of my savings statement (ie my stooze pot). I suspect that sending a copy of my One Account statement might not be as black and white in demonstrating healthy savings, though the information is there if you can convince them to look.
On balance then, I think I'll stick with an external Stooze pot.
