If the garage cannot spot any worn bushes etc it could be the suspension spring plate at the top of the shocker banging against the chassis of the car.
However most likely a CV joint if it only does it when turning to the right0 -
Yep. Another vote for CV joint. As soon as you said 'knocking' in a situation with full lock its the obvious candidate. They could still last quite a while if you're thinking of selling fairly soon:rolleyes: .0

My track car does it when turning left, I've been advised it's either the driveshaft or the gearbox diff, I'll cry if it's the gearbox.
I'm fitting a new driveshaft on Friday and will be hoping that it solves the problem.
I get a pressure against the steering, as if the car doesn't want to turn left, it's fine turning right though.0
