Re, the hair thing, if this happens to me i tend to just wash it a few times so that it will fade, plus if they don't know you at this other place they won't know what your hair is like. Also if you are outside, then your hair is likely to fade more in the sun!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

I'll second the H&S solution, it really is a very harsh shampoo but good for stripping a little colour.
And never feel bad over caring about your hair. All women care, it's why hair loss during chemo is such a major stress. Some of us may not do much with our hair (mine hangs) but we care about how it looks. There's a verse in the bible that says "a womans hair is her crowning glory". That's us

Once again a big :T to everyone for being so helpful. I know it sounds daft, but i styled my hair differently to see if it made any difference :rotfl: and in some weird about way it did look different.
Also tomorrow when i wake up, im going to get up with a, style my hair as i normally would and put on my make up and see what i think about my hair then. I always think i look better with make up on, especially my mascara, you never know, dark dark brown hair, blue eyes and eye lashing standing out might make all the difference....
If that fails, its off to the shop to buy head and shoulders, im definately not stripping my hair, i will put up with it and use anything i can to make it fade.
andan thanks so much for your post, i don't post on this website thinking what i put will make any difference to anyone really, but its nice knowing that what i share others see as inspiration, it really made me smile.
Its amazing how in 12 mths your life can dramatically change, this time last year for me my kind parents back home in Australia paid for my airfare so i could go to my sisters wedding. Money was tight then, we couldn't afford for me to go, but when my parents stepped in, we had more than enough money for me to take to spend while i was back home and for my OH to obviously live. 2008 summer holidays are here and im having to work 4 weeks outta the 6 which sucks, but you do what you gotta do in life to have more money.
Will put a post up tomorrow night after my OH's job interview, its at 3pm, but i'll doubt he'll hear either way, i would expect them to phone him on Thursday.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

Do you have any beauty colleges by you? The salons there are really good as the tutors are constantly watching over the students and the cost is really low.It Will be Mine.............ITV Cash Win, Ipod Touch & Spa BreakI have the comping bug!0

No beauty college near me, just a normal college that would be closed now for the summer break, but about 2 years ago now when i supported some students from my work (school) they did have a hair dressers section that i saw. So when the 6 weeks is over, i'll look into that i think.
 for the messages of support for my OH.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160
